Omega-3 Total Oil contains ⅕ organic cold-pressed olive oil, a natural and powerful antioxidant with a high content of polyphenols. Omega-3 fatty acids are particularly "sensitive" and must therefore be protected both before consumption and in the body. The particularly high polyphenol content of olive oil protects the sensitive omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation. A characteristic of olive oil rich in polyphenols is that you feel a slight scratchy sensation in your throat when you ingest it.

Sustainable wild catch

The fish oil contained in our Omega-3 Total comes from sustainable wild-caught fish and is extracted from the whole fish, not as a by-product. For an optimal EPA to DHA ratio of 2:1, we carefully select a combination of small fatty fish (sardines, mackerel and anchovies) - all of which are rich in omega-3, especially EPA.

Fishing is carried out according to strict guidelines for sustainable fishing and is certified by the well-known "Friend of the Sea" seal. The fish oil is purified of harmful substances and PCBs and controlled according to strict Norwegian regulations.

No concentrate - completely natural

The natural fatty acid structure of the fish is preserved during the extraction and purification of the Omega-3 Total Oil. Our natural fish oil consists of the same fatty acid complex of over 50 fatty acids found in fish and has not been artificially increased - as is the case with fish oil concentrates.

The difference between a natural fish oil and a concentrate is that in concentrates the natural fatty acid structure of the fish oil is altered by various chemical processes in order to artificially increase the concentration of omega-3 fatty acids.

Our oceans are increasingly polluted and contaminated by harmful substances and heavy metals. For this reason, it is necessary to carefully clean the raw natural fish oil and remove any potential contaminants. The effect of taking our natural fish oil is similar to the effect of eating fish, without the harmful substances.
